Selecting a Workspace Definition File

You can select the workspace definition file (WDF) to apply to the current document.

You would typically do this for a WDF that has been generated manually from Studio. If the WDF has been generated using the Docupresentment Web Service, use the download function instead.

Note Updating the workspace definition file assigned to a Documaker document can change the Documaker document itself.

To select a workspace definition file

  1. In the Tools group, select Workspaces.
  2. From the Workspaces dialog, click the browse button select WDF button.

Alternatively, right-click anywhere in the table, then select Browse.

  1. In the Select Workspace Definition File dialog, navigate to the workspace file that you want add, then double-click it to select it.

The workspace file is added to the list.

  1. To enable this workspace for your document, from the Documaker tab, click Properties, then select the corresponding Workspace.
